Venus flytrap is a miracle of nature. People do not think of plants moving, but Venus flytrap can catch insects with its toothed modified leaves that snap shut when triggered by prey touching the tiny hairs on the inner leaf surface. This should be kept in a window ledge in the house and never be allowed to dry out, it will never require fertiliser as the insects it catches will provide all the nutrients required..
Please give it rain water or if not distilled. Its not keen on tap water!
